Abstract

Green engineering is used to indicate environmental concerns in engineering. Green manufacturing is a subset of green engineering. Environmentally friendly machining is a part of green manufacturing. It is included in the concept of sustainable manufacturing, which considers economical and social concerns in addition to environmental concerns. This monograph focuses on environmentally friendly machining. An environmentally friendly machining attempts to minimize the consumption of cutting fluid, cutting tools, and energy.
