Abstract

University education has become very complex, due to the management of education through information systems. So much investment should lead us to ask ourselves if: with all these facilities, is the education system performing well? And how to measure this performance? A survey concerning experienced teachers showed that there is no access to synthetic data allowing visibility on student performance, and therefore there would not be enough monitoring regarding the evolution of profiles and skills. In this context, the present work is focused on the implementation of an Information System of Performance Management and Reporting, introduced through the Student Scorecard as one of its parts, that offers the possibility to combine several key performance Indicators (KPIs). This Student Scorecard can generate a performance report in order to easily identify the causes and the main causes of non-performance of a student or a group of students, during a specific period.
