Abstract

Psychologists typically must complete four years of coursework, a year of full-time internship, and an additional year of supervised, post-doctoral experience in order to meet minimum licensing requirements. However, virtually no graduate programs or state licensing boards require any specific coursework or training in crisis intervention.
