Abstract

The pathogenesis of Peyronie's disease (induratio penis plastica) is unclear, but immune phenomena appear likely to be involved. Two cases are presented where the condition developed in temporal association with a virological response to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) in men with HIV infection. It is suggested that this may represent another manifestation of immune restoration disease. © 2004 British HIV Association.
