Abstract

This chapter explores the leadership role that Australia’s higher education regulator, the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), has played nationally and internationally in advancing the cause of academic integrity over the last decade. Central to TEQSA’s strategy has been the notion of partnership; that academic integrity is a shared responsibility, where government, institutions, academic staff and students, and the broader community must come together to uphold the principles of academic integrity and the reputation of the higher education sector.
