Abstract

In the past decade, computer technology has given rise to greater degrees of interactivity. Cartographers are beginning to think about how to effectively design interactive maps. By working with interactive maps, cartographers are realising that some map design practices are not well suited for interactive maps. With this in mind cartographers are beginning to rethink map design in the context of interactive maps.
