Abstract

(from the chapter) The authors discuss the behavioral genetics of crime. They first review research on the genetic basis of crime, from adult twin studies to adoption studies. They also examine the genetic basis of crime-related behavioral constructs and biological markers for antisocial and criminal behavior, such as cardiovascular underarousal and serotonergic dysfunction.
