Abstract

We measured full energy peak efficiency of High-Purity Germanium detector which is important for gamma-ray spectrometry experiments. A brief but very effective description on the basic formation of detector crystal and creation of signal pulse h as been presented here. This article is furnished in such a way that the contents find useful and interesting to physics and electronics students, educators, and also researchers who are generally reading outside their specialties to broaden their understanding of physics and to expand and enhance their pedagogical toolkits at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
