Abstract

Scientific method must involve a broad view of lots of different ideas. A theory is judged by its relation to many different observations and many other theories. Scientific knowledge must be a coherent network of statements, both empirical and theoretical. No piecemeal or isolated view of single theories and single experiments can do justice to the scientific method.
