Abstract

Nineteen compounds are characterized by GC/MS and Kovats Indices in the oil of tipo, Minthostachys mollis Griseb., from Ecuador. The major compounds are29.34 ± 3.94% neomenthol, 24.00 ± 5.23% menthone, 20.55 ± 3.33% menthol, and 8.96 ± 1.65% piperitone. © 1994 The New York Botanical Garden.
