Previous research shows the level of interest in reading in Indonesia is relatively low. The level of interest in reading is related to information literacy skills. This study aims to determine the impact of the GLS (School Literacy Movement) program as an effort to improve information literacy skills of elementary school students (SD) especially in Indonesian language learning. Students' literacy skills are measured using the Super3 method, namely, Plan (plan), Do (implementation) and Review (evaluation). The population in this study were the fifth grade public and private elementary school students in South Tangerang, which numbered 3,304 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. The technique of collecting data through a questionnaire using a gutman scale and interviews with related parties. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and uses continuum analysis based on frequency tabulation. The results showed that the ability of information literacy in fifth grade elementary school students in Indonesian language learning) was in a good category.
