Abstract

Disease is defined broadly as a result of attributes disadvantageous to a species. Chief factor is adverse conditions of habitat. Ecological aspects of several diseases are discussed in relation to habitat dependency. It is emphasized that any ultimate control of disease in wildlife populations must be developed through habitat manipulation.
