Abstract

The conventional definition of distance between two points has been extended to apply to collections of more than two elements. In this paper some significant properties of those multi-argument distances are analyzed and we study a class of multidistances that we call Fermat multidistances. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010.
