Abstract

In turbulent environments, enterprise agility (i. e., the ability for firms to sense environmental change and respond appropriately) is an important determinant of firm success. We present a framework for enterprise agility, identify the underlying capabilities that support enterprise agility, and explicate the enabling role of information technology and digital options. © 2005 by International Federation for Information Processing.
