Abstract

A new species of the bee genus Oligochlora Engel is described and figured from two females preserved in a single piece of Miocene Dominican amber. The species is proposed as Oligochlora marquettorum Engel and Rightmyer sp. nov., and is the fourth member of this extinct genus of the tribe Augochlorini.
