Abstract

The validity of the network topology and routing planning parameters must be evaluated and confirmed before use to realize the service performance of a complex inter-satellite link network represented by the global navigation satellite system. In this study, an evaluation is designed and divided into two phases: the rapid evaluation of validity and the evaluation of the business service performance. In the first phase, a rapid evaluation method is defined for evaluating the validity of the multi-dimensional integrated network planning parameters, including scene element compliance, node feature compliance, measurement service constraint satisfaction, and data transmission performance satisfaction. In the second phase, an implementation method is proposed for evaluating the business service performance. Specifically, an inter-satellite link network simulation system comprising a network behavior model and a data access model is used to achieve accelerated simulation of the inter-satellite data transmission performance, which calculates the number of chain constructions and the packet transmission performance, and compares them with the business service indicators. Furthermore, the validity of the evaluation method is verified by comparing the evaluation results of the two phases for the same typical scenario.
