Abstract

The environmental impact of industrial technology applications on petroleum and coal supplies on the face of this earth is the depletion of its stock. So the price of products produced with raw materials of petroleum and coal is soaring. Therefore it is necessary to design the product with an additional source of economic energy to reduce the price of electricity is increasingly soaring. Electrical energy can be obtained by using a magnetic field, one of which in the old application of this machine is called a generator. The purpose of designing this product using a permanent magnet is to convert the movement of the magnetic field into electrical energy. The design of this new product can be an alternative source of electrical energy offered as a substitute for petroleum and coal is utilizing a permanent magnetic field. By using the motion source of a permanent magnetic field to generate electrical energy it is expected that this design result can be used by households in remote islands in the Riau Islands that have not been reached or even isolated areas. This tool has a development scheme of direct current current (DC) 12 V so it can produce 220 V alternative current (AC) output with power 500 watts through a series of permanent magnets. So from the design of this product emerge alternative energy source renewable and environmentally friendly. Keywords—
