Abstract. The objectives of the research are to know about the influence of the headmaster?óÔé¼Ôäós leadership methode and workingsituation toward teacher?óÔé¼Ôäós loyality. The samples are 180 teachers of SMPN in Boyolali Regency. The collecting data uses questionnaire. The data is analized using computer with SPSS programme in 11.5.version. The result shows that including to the teacher perception; (1) there is influence which has significant of the headmaster?óÔé¼Ôäós leadership toward teacher?óÔé¼Ôäós loyality; (2) there is influence which has significantof working situation toward teacher?óÔé¼Ôäós loyality; (3) As collective, there are influence which have significant of headmaster?óÔé¼Ôäós leadership methode and working situation toward teacher?óÔé¼Ôäós loyality. Working situation has influence bigger than headmaster?óÔé¼Ôäós leadership in increasing.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan suasana kerja terhadap kinerja para guru. Sampel sebanyak 180 guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Boyolali.Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan komputer program SPSS Versi 11.5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurut persepsi guru: (1) ada pengaruh yang siginifikan pola kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan suasana kerja terhadap kinerja guru, (3) secara bersama-sama ada pengaruh yang signifikan pola kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan suasana kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Suasana kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan pola kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SMP Negeri Kabupaten Boyolali.Key words: headmaster?óÔé¼Ôäós leadership methode, working situation, and teacher?óÔé¼Ôäós loyality.
