Abstract

I invite the reader to gaze through Roberto Bellini’s “Life is Beautiful” as a helpful allegory for our vocational endeavors. I sketch phase-appropriate developmental fictions and their situated benefit, and also suggest that sooner or later we must surrender our vocational fantasies and take up the reality of our work. My recent work with a therapy companion, in which we held those realities together, is the landscape for this chapter. TS - BibTeX
