Abstract

presenting an initial survey on the relationship between the structure of the Turkish orthography and reading and writing disorders in that language / data obtained from two Turkish children who were poor readers were examined from this perspective information regarding the history of the Turkish alphabet, the nature of the orthography and phonology of the language, and its morphological structure will be presented a summary of the prevalence of the reading problem in the country and measures taken by the Government will also be given two case studies with reading and writing disorders in Turkish are presented (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
