Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women worldwide. It is responsible for a large number of deaths, occurring mostly in metastatic patients. Early detection and management are a key for better prognosis. Here we report a case of a 59 years old woman diagnosed with an invasive ductal carcinoma and bladder metastasis. Our aim is to raise clinician awareness about this unusual metastatic location. We also did a systematic literature review identifying 107 cases since 1950 in order to describe the clinical characteristics of the bladder metastasis from breast cancer and discuss the diagnostic pitfalls.
