We briefly review thecrime scene investigation processes, arguing that it is highlydistributed. We then propose the use of a simple case-based reasoning(CBR) system to support some aspects of this activity, and a wearablecomputer to assist in data collection. The includes a user trial bypractising crime scene investigators, and concludes with discussion offuture work.
