This chapter explores the many issues pertinent to the transporting of cognitive-behavioral interventions to the school setting. As has been reviewed, this is a multifaceted endeavor fraught with numerous barriers, though a variety of adaptations are possible to address and overcome these obstacles. Hope exists for the successful achievement of this objective as recent research has explored the designing of school-specific interventions, the incorporation of innovative technology, and the development of treatment approaches created with flexible implementation for diverse populations in mind. Such efforts reflect important steps forward. However as always, additional work is necessary in order to continue advancing gains in the school context. In this way, CBT can be made more readily available to youth in a setting where identification, access, and service provision have the potential to be the most available, cost-effective, and relevant!
