Abstract

Evolutionary biology is in conceptual disarray at a time when humanity cannot afford it. Never have we had more information and less integration. As well, the current consensus framework has failed substantially to provide guidance in the face of accelerating global climate change. We hope to provide an arena within which all interested people can contribute to unifying the disparate perspectives into a comprehensive theoretical framework leading to a more robust approach to ensuring humanity’s future. We are by nature fearful, storytelling, dreaming beings. For the arena to be maximally inclusive, we rely on narrative approaches grounded in metaphors.
