Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the diagnostic accuracy of TCD and TCCD for detecting stenosis and occlusion of intracranial large arteries in people with acute ischaemic stroke. We will assess the accuracy of different thresholds of mean flow velocity or peak systolic velocity, or both, in the grading of intracranial artery stenosis.
