Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning terhadap Keterampilan Proses dan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa SD

Irfandi Idris, (2019). This research was motivated by the complaints of students towards learning which has been considered very boring, especially in science subjects. Teachers more emphasis on rote and routine spending by relying on textbooks, students are less educated to think based on what he had obtained in learning. This can greatly affect student learning outcomes against the material being taught. This study aims to determine the effect of using learning model of problem based learning to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of alternative energy. This research is a quasi-experimental design using nonequivalent control group design. Subjects in this study amounted to 68 students with the entire student population of elementary school Bontojai. The sampling technique is purposive sampling or sample deliberate, samples were used that class as an experimental class IVA and IVB as the control class. Data collection techniques using test descriptions and interviews. Processing quantitative data using SPSS 20.0 for Windows to test the normality, homogeneity, and t-test. As for the qualitative data obtained from interviews of students in the experimental class. Based on the results of data processing obtained an average value of 67.50 pretest experimental class and control class 46.35. Values obtained normality test pretest experimental class 0.009 and control class 0.083 to homogeneity pretest have significant value 0.125. The average value posttest experimental class 90.71 and control class 79.61 normality posttest experimental class 0.229 and control class 0,282 homogeneity posttest while the second class to the value of 0.563 and the t-test posttest significance 0.007. The results of the interview obtained a positive answer to the students' learning by using a model of problem-based learning. It can be concluded that learning by applying the model of problem-based learning can improve learning outcomes and students' understanding of the learning materials.
