Abstract

We studied, by use of a questionnaire, the prevalence of sleep problems, their distribution with age, and their relationship to the early disorders of the waking-sleeping rhythm in children coming for different reasons for pediatric or psychiatric consultation. We found a higher incidence of sleep problems and, above all, an association of several sleep problems in children with previous disorders of the waking-sleeping rhythm.
