Abstract

The quality of Web applications is becoming more and more important. Web applications testing is a challenging work owing to its dynamic behaviors and complex dependences. In this paper, we present an automatic test case generation algorithm by exploiting DUCC expression and constructing transformed dependence diagram. We propose the two-phase approach to generate test cases automatically and apply the approach into intra-and inter-page levels to decrease the complexity of test case generation. To enlarge the generated test cases, we also exploit a predicate negating method to obtain more test cases. The experimental result shows our approach is applicable for real world testing and can generate test cases effectively. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
