Estudo filogenético de Mesembrinellinae com ênfase no gênero Eumesembrinella Townsend (Diptera, Calliphoridae)

Abstract

PHYLOGENETIC STUDY OF MESEMBRINEU.lNAE, WITH EMPHASIS IN EUMESEMBRINEUA TOWNSEND (DIPTERA, CALUPHORIDAE). A study of phylogenelic relalionships of lhe genera of Mesembrinellinae and of lhe species of Ellmesembrinella Townsend, 1931, on lhe ground of shared derived characler ~1ales (synapomorphies) is presenled. Resulting lhe following assumplion: Laneella Mello, 1967 presenling sisler group relalionship wilh ali olher Mesembrinellinae, followed by SOllzalopesiella Guimarães, 1977, M. peregrina Aldrich, 1922 lhaI was isolaled from Mesembrinella Giglio-Tos, 1893. Mesembrinella was considered paraphilclic, ils species were judged in changeablc posilions aI lhe bifurcalion poinl of analysis of Albllqllerqllea Mello, 1967 wilh lhe lricolomic inlerrelalionships of 77lOlIIpsoniella Guimarães, 1977. Hllascaromllsca Townsend, 1918 and Ellllleselllbrinella Townsend, 1931. The phylogeny of lhe genus Ellmesembrinella shows E. cyaneicincta in basal position, followed by E. qlladrilineata lhat showcd sister group relalionship wilh E. randa plus E. benoisli. Mesemb,inella cll1Tani Guimarães, 1977 and Elllllesembrinella benoisti (SÉGUY 1925) were revalided.
