The literature of education for social justice and the literature of ethics in education seem rarely to cross the boundaries of their separated discourse. This chapter attempts to understand some of the standpoints that might clarify why they have not collaborated in exploiting the strong points they both have to offer, and concludes with an argument for such collaboration.
