Abstract

The growing necessity for high news information encourages news portal providers to improve quality. This study aims to analyze the level of service quality on mobile news applications. Measurement of application quality is conducted by employing the Web Quality (WebQual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The case study was conducted on mobile news applications. The respondents of this study were 120 people with 23 attributes from 4 WebQual dimensions. The analysis results of the quality level of the application features indicate that the attributes of the Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction dimensions require corrective action, gathering the seven attributes required to be prioritized for improvement.
