Abstract

The intracranial arterial circulation is divided into: anterior circulation, with the internal carotid artery (ICA), its branches, the anterior communicating artery (ACoA) and the posterior communicating artery (PCoA);posterior circulation with the distal segment of the vertebral arteries (VA), the basilar artery (BA) and its branches.
