Abstract

A description, with figures, is presented of Tipula (Lunatipula) cillibema sp. n., a species from the province Mugla, Southwestern Turkey. The species is close to T. (L.) imbecilla Loew, from areas near Rhodos. Both species are assigned to the macroselene group sensu Mannheims (1965), and their position within this species group is discussed. © Entomologica Fennica. 15 March 2005.
