Abstract

This chapter describes the process of sociolinguistic survey and basic linguistic research with language communities of Equatorial Guinea in Africa. The objectives include: updating the Ethnologue database for living languages of Equatorial Guinea, working with language communities in planning and developing sustainable language use, and preparing a language map of Equatorial Guinea that indicates the indigenous homeland of each language community.
