Blood and urine are frequently analyzed for their chemical content. Raman spectroscopy, with its high specificity, can provide chemical information in a non-contact and potentially non-invasive manner. In this chapter, key experimental and analytical techniques for converting Raman spectra into quantitative chemical concentration measurements are presented, along with a survey of the current status of the field.
