This chapter reviews the evidence that environmental factors have a role in the etiology of reproductive abnormalities. The actions of hormonally active agents, such as endocrine disrupting chemicals, that may alter the synthesis, secretion, transport, binding, or elimination of natural hormones are highlighted.
