The existence of women is seen as subordinate compared to men. Man superiority is very dominant, creating a social inequality that results in injustice and human rights abuses. Then Islam came to bring mercy to the universe. Islam organizes in such a way as human relationships and liberates women from the shackles of ignorance. The issue of gender equality is often cornering Islam, whereas in fact Islam is the first that have the idea of gender equality. Islam comes with rising women. Human is seen in his capacity as ʻabdullāh, there is no difference between men and women, both have the potential and have equal opportunity to become ideal servants. Men and women also have same functions and roles in their capacity as khalīfah of Allah. They will be accountable for the tasks of the caliphate on earth in the same position in front of Allah.
