Abstract

An IoT based dynamic, distributed energy management of a micro-grid is implemented. Three stages of distributed energy management is considered through three levels of micro-grids. All the micro-grid component values are sensed through Arduino microcontroller. These values are sent to cloud for coordination operation and the resulting signals are used for implementation of distributed energy management in network of micro-grids. An Arduino-IOT based smart micro-grid testbed is implemented with interconnection of three groups of microgrid each group with three micro-grids. Every microgrid contains a wind, two solar, battery and load. Effective distributed energy management is implemented with environmental consideration. Also, Block chain is implemented on top of this microgrids to remove the middleman and to reduce the transaction expences.
