The video head impulse test (vHIT) and ocular vestibular-evoked myogenic potential are two techniques developed in recent times that enable non-invasive interrogation of the human vestibulo-ocular reflex in a clinical setting. In this chapter, we examine their testing technique, analysis and application in acute and episodic vestibular syndromes and chronic imbalance.
