A revolução de 1964 e o movimento militar no paraná: a visão da caserna

Abstract

Neste trabalho apresenta-se um relato do golpe militar de 1964 conforme a visão da caserna. Como o movimento foi nacional, torna-se por vezes difícil destacar aspectos políticos ou militares regionais. Mesmo assim, procurou-se dar um enfoque local ao processo político, tendo por palco o estado do Paraná. O artigo resume a estrutura militar e a posição dos oficiais que serviam nas organizações militares do estado. A dinâmica do golpe é descrita a partir do ângulo de visão dos quartéis e traz, por meio de entrevistas, a opinião de três oficiais generais que tiveram participação ativa no movimento.Dans ce travail, il est présenté un rapport du coup d'état de 1964 selon la perspective de la caserne. Comme le mouvement s'est produit sur le plan national, il est parfois difficile d'identifier les aspects politiques ou militaires régionaux. En tout cas, nous essayons de voir le processus politique sur le plan local, en l'occurrence l'état du Paraná. L'article résume la structure militaire et le positionnement des officiers liés aux organisations militaires de l'état. Le coup d'état est présenté selon la représentation des quartiers généraux et, par l'intermédiaire des interviews, l'avis de trois officiers qui ont participé activement au mouvement est examiné.This article provides a narrative of the 1964 military coup, as viewed from the barracks. Since the coup was a national movement, it sometimes becomes difficult to look at its regional political and military aspects. Here, however, we seek a local focus on the political process, taking the state of Paraná as case in point. This paper presents a summary of the military structure and the position of officials who served in the state's military organizations. The dynamics of the coup are described from the perspective of what went on in the barracks and presents, through interviews, the point of view of three generals who had active participation in the movement.
