Abstract

In recent years, due to its object-oriented, cross-platform, and wide-ranging features, Java’s demand for Java talent has grown dramatically. To meet the demand for talented people, universities are also actively developing “Java Programming” courses, but There is a big gap between the requirements of talents and employers. The essential reason is that the teaching quality of Java is not high, and the talent cultivated by the old-fashioned training model cannot meet the diverse needs of the society. For this reason, this paper analyzes the general problems in the teaching process of Java Programming, such as the selection of teaching materials, teaching methods, unscientific assessment and other issues. They belong to the problem of textbook models. This paper discusses how to reform curriculum teaching mode to improve teaching quality. This model mainly reforms the traditional “Java programming” teaching mode from the aspects of teaching materials selection, theoretical teaching, experimental teaching and course assessment, in order to improve students’ Java programming ability and software development level.
