This article aims to describe the management of madarsah principals in improving teacher performance at Padangguni Private Madrasahs, Konawe Regency. This research is qualitative with a narrative approach. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, display and data verification. Checking the validity of the data is done by extending observations, increasing persistence and triangulation. The results showed that in order to improve teacher performance, madrasah principals carried out several things including: 1) Performance planning, 2) Performance organization, 3) Performance implementation and 4) Performance evaluation. Through the management of the madrasah principal, teachers are increasingly improving their performance, such as 1) planning lessons, 2) implementing learning, 3) evaluating learning and 4) learning follow-up. This study concludes that teacher performance can be increased through the implementation of good madrasa principal management functions. It is recommended that a madrasa principal must have leadership in carrying out his duties.Keywords: Management, Madrasah Principal, PerformanceArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kepala madarsah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru pada Madrasah Swasta Padangguni Kabupaten Konawe. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, display dan verifikasi data. Pengecekkan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru, kepala madrasah melaksanakan beberapa hal meliputi: 1) Perencanaan kinerja, 2) Pengorganisasian kinerja, 3) Pelaksanaan kinerja dan 4) Evaluasi kinerja. Melalui manajemen kepala madrasah tersebut guru semakin memperbaiki kinerjanya seperti 1) merencanakan pembelajaran, 2) melaksanakan pembelajaran, 3) evaluasi pembelajaran dan 4) tindak lanjut pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa Kinerja guru dapat meningkat melalui pelaksanaan fungsi-fungsi manajemen kepala madrasah yang baik. Direkomendasi seorang kepala madrasah harus memiliki leadership dalam melaksanakan tugasnya.Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Kepala Madrasah, Kinerja Guru
