The study covers almost one-fifth of Canada, the largest area ever studied in a river basin planning study under the Canada Water Act. The program, its limitations and experiences during the first two years are described. The $1.6 million study is now in its third and final year, with a report to six federal and provincial ministers due in August 1981. © 1980 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
