Abstract

Ketorolac tromethamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has been readily used for many clinical conditions including acute migraines, renal colic, and postoperative pain management. The multiple routes of administration, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties make it a preferred agent in the acute setting; however, its side-effect profile needs to considered before initiating therapy.
