The development of new surgical techniques presents new technological needs. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to show the design approach and the conceptual idea of a system to assist the neurosurgeon in the management of hands-free visual feedback during training of the technique. Material and methods: The autocad mechanical software was used in order to determine the position of joints and links in the neuro-navigation. Results: The graphics characterization of the movement in the tridimensional surgical work space was obtained, having obtained the first approximation design. © 2013 Springer.
