In this book we intended to organize the main theoretical concepts of dynamic speckle, the techniques adopted to work with the phenomenon, and various other applications. It should be clear that in such a technological area it is impossible to cover the subject completely. Nevertheless, while attempting to review as much as possible, it was observed that the application areas demand a deep comprehension of the phenomena involving the interaction of the laser and the matter under illumination, in some cases calling for special and specific accounts involving a multidisciplinary evaluation.
