For the centralized PV station which uses panels constructed with by-pass diode, the mathematical model of U-I relationship is established considering mismatch. Measured values of output voltage and current are obtained by real-time measurement system. Then the equation set is formed and can be solved via Gauss-Seidel iteration method. Thus, five parameters and mismatch parameter are available, and can be used to judge the mismatch panel or panels. Moreover, database can be set up according to the relation between the environment circumstance and the five parameters, which can efficiently improve the time of mismatch detecting.
