Abstract

Industrial innovation ecosystem is a complex network. With the emergence of global competition, knowledge economy and internet economy are demonstrating significant features of industrial clustering in space, collaboration and innovation. Meanwhile, decentralized enterprises that used to be independent are now showing an increasing tendency to enterprise aggregation. When describing the development of industrial clusters, a dual value goal should be set: one is the value of industrial or economic district, driving regional or national economic growth; the other is the value of cluster innovation, enhancing regional or national innovative capability. The knowledge spillover generated during this process makes innovative cooperation possible. Enterprise species, as the modular network node of the system, establishes a loosely-coupled structure. The improvement of innovative behavior and the upgrade of industrial clusters are achieved by dynamic division and knowledge sharing.
