Abstract

Relevance of research issues is since DeepFakes Technologies are one of the recent events, which are contributing the emergence of institutional problems in the field of media. They are presented as realistic videos with “false content”, which are producing with artificial intelligence. In article are analyzed the technology of creating and using DeepFake, types of DeepFake and groups of their producers and advantages and threats of DeepFake technologies. In addition, in this article are presented the study of the online-users audience, research on their skills to distinguish fake media from reliable ones. The content of the article has practical value and can be used by modern media for increasing the effectiveness of their work with target audiences and society. In article are suggested methods to combat DeepFake technologies, such as: legislative regulation, development of technologies for DeepFake detection, content authentication, digital methods of DeepFake distribution prevention.
