Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is now becoming the emerging issue in the field of research. IoT is used in home appliances, health monitoring, Industry Internet and many more. Sensors and Actuators play important role in the Internet of Things. In this paper, a prototype is proposed that will warn the visually impaired persons for nearest obstacles and hurdles. Ultrasonic sensor is used to design the proposed system. The visually impaired person will receive warning through its smart-phone and the location will be saved. Whenever visually impaired person will come near to that place it will warn again to the person. This will be a low-cost system and will replace the stick that is generally used by every visually impaired person.
